Open Studio Workday

$220.00

August 8th, 2026 & August 29th, 2026.

Join Lauren in her studio for a personalized, one-on-one, studio experience where she’ll help you work through current projects that have you stumped or tackle your growing mending pile. You’ll have access to Lauren’s expertise and studio space, along with the possibility of learning & using some of her specialized machines (ex: serger, coverstitch, or industrial straight stitch). You will also have access to some of her textile remnants and/or notions to use in your projects.

This is a 4 hour workday to allow for plenty of creativity, problem-solving, and time to construct & sew. Depending on your skill level and difficulty of your projects, the hope is that you’ll leave with at least one or two projects completed + gain a stronger understanding of industry-standard sewing.

Open to Intermediate & Advanced Sewers. Mask-Required.
*Beginners welcome, however, basic knowledge of machine sewing is preferred.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO: Unfortunately, the location of Lauren’s personal studio is not wheelchair accessible or ADA compliant. It is located within a minimally converted century old barn with gravel/plant-life impeding the pathway leading to her studio. Must be able to climb two steps up into the building. Equipped with air conditioning.*

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please bring a large and varied selection of sewing-related projects to work on. Although Lauren has quite a bit of knowledge in the realms of fashion design, patternmaking, sewing, fibers, art, etc… she does not claim to know everything and, therefore, may not be able to provide guidance on certain projects. Please be as thorough as possible when filling out the form that pops up when purchasing this offering. This will help Lauren prepare and tailor the experience to your needs, so you get the most out of your studio time. <3
